About Getaway Tours

In 1985, after many years in the tour and travel industry, Blair Soucy founded Getaway Tours, Inc. from his home office in Terryville, Connecticut. Getaway Tours, Inc. initially specialized in motorcoach travel for preformed groups. Within the past few years, Getaway Tours, Inc. has expanded their product line to include public motorcoach tours, international tours and cruises.

Getaway Tours, Inc. is a proud member in good standing with the National Tour Association (NTA), the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), International Airlines Travel Agency Network (IATAN), and the Bristol Area Chamber of Commerce

Getaway Tours, Inc. employs two Accredited Cruise Counselors (ACC), certified through the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). Getaway Tours, Inc. also employs two Certified Tour Professionals (CTP), certified through the National Tour Association (NTA). These standards assure you of our commitment to quality tours and excellent customer service.
